Alexey Gudkov is a master of hand-to-hand combat, the founder of the Lyubka school. Now he often tours, conducts seminars, teaches those who wish to martial art.
School "Lyubka"
The biography and career of Alexei Gudkov is inextricably linked with the Lyubka school, of which he is the head.
Alexey says that this school consists of two complementary directions.
One of the directions is "Vladimirskie Lyubki". It includes knowledge about the structure of the Universe, about the structure of man. The second part of the Lyubka school includes the techniques of Moscow and Tver hand-to-hand combat, which included the combat knowledge of ancestors.
According to Aleksey Gudkov, his hand-to-hand combat school is designed to preserve and disseminate ancient military knowledge and traditions.
The famous fighter says that he began to practice Russian martial arts in 1987.
From the interview
You can find out more about this person if you read the answers he gave to journalists' questions.
From one such interview, we learn that the nickname of this master of hand-to-hand combat is "Dark".
When asked by a journalist about how he started practicing martial arts, Gudkov replies that at first he mastered karate. Then he and his friends began to feel that they were frozen in place, not moving forward. Then the guys decided to take up rare types of wushu. But they still wanted something more.
The "dark one" is sure that a fighter should get away from a knife, stick and chain, be elusive, plastic. The master believes that karate does not teach this.
When he met his teacher Anatoly Troshin, he began to train him with a chain. Alexey Gudkov tried to dodge this weapon, but even karate skills did not help this. Only over time, the "Dark" learned to get away from the knife and chain. But, as the master of hand-to-hand combat himself says, at first there were cuts on his body after such difficult exercises.
Teacher story
Who made such an invaluable contribution to the formation of Alexei Gudkov? As "Dark" himself says, his mentor Anatoly Troshin decided to prepare for service even before the army. He started running in the morning and met an elderly man. The old man's age was impossible to understand. This middle-aged man was doing intricate exercises. Gudkov's future mentor began to repeat the movements of that person. The elderly man first explained to Anatoly Troshin how to practice, but then advised him to go to kung fu and karate school.
Although Gudkov also practiced karate, his mentor Anatoly was faster. According to "Dark", Troshin managed to repulse all of Gudkov's punches and kicks.
When asked about his idols, Alexei replies that they are Roy Jones and Kostya Ju. He is sure that they can be considered ideal fighters, since these people, according to Gudkov, use the basics of Russian hand-to-hand combat in their art.
Gudkov says that at such a moment the athlete should be collected, but not tense. In battle, you need to be able to be "viscous" in order to get away from the blow in time.
Preparation
Gudkov recalls how his mentor Anatoly Troshin taught him. Tolya told the student to defend himself, as he would hit him from above with a stick. The learner stood up to resist the blows. But here the teacher abruptly changed the direction of his weapon and brought the regiment to the side. The apprentice had to quickly rebuild to reflect such an unexpected blow. Aleksey Gudkov was also taught by the famous karate master Stepin, sambo trainer Gloriozov.
Alexey Gudkov is often invited to various seminars to talk about the techniques he has mastered. One such master recalls the following. He was called into the division to train scouts. The master of hand-to-hand combat was inspired, said that then he needed knives, sticks, gloves. But the warrant officer replied that it was forbidden, otherwise the guys might have wounds, bruises, they would have to write explanatory notes.
Then it was decided to take rubber dummies, such attributes of Gudkov and trained these scouts.
Alexei has many similar stories in store, he willingly shares them with correspondents.
Recently "Dark" was with his comrades in Germany, here one person was very surprised when he saw a hand-to-hand combat trainer at the hands of the masters. He asked, where did the guys get it from? It turns out that this person at one time saw such a device when he was undergoing military training, but he signed a nondisclosure agreement. An adult son was standing next to him. He was surprised that his father never told this story about military simulators. To which the parent replied that it was a military secret, he could not even tell his family and wife about it.
Alexey Gudkov is also happy to talk about his brainchild - about the martial arts school, about how it came about. At the end of the last century, he already had many students, he himself considered himself a good master in the field of martial arts. The "dark" with some sixth sense began to anticipate the opponent's blow and abruptly move away from the opponent's fist. The master decided to figure it out. Then his student brought a videotape. After watching this video, Alexei realized that he needed to learn the basics of Russian hand-to-hand combat, which were described in this video. On the basis of this knowledge, the Lyubka school arose.
For correspondents, what Gudkov is doing is of great interest. They do not ask about personal life, about family, and an enthusiastic person is happy to talk about hand-to-hand combat, about martial arts, and shows various interesting techniques.
