Having barely finished filming this series, the actor begins work on a new role: he created the image of Milind in the series "Rock" (2007- …). Director Anil V. Kumar and producers from the famous Kapurov dynasty unanimously chose the actor for the main role, and this was the most important event of that year. The actor's partner was actress Panchi Bora, and all viewers who watched the series noted how subtly Shabbir and Panchi played lovers. All spoke only one word: "Chemistry."

Therefore, no one was surprised that soon Ahluvalia began to appear in Bollywood projects. The first film in a new role was the film "Shootout in Lokandvale" (2007). The film is interesting in that it reproduces the real story of the confrontation between mobsters and police in the suburbs of Mumbai in 1992. The gripping story was filmed by director Apurva Lakhia, and the famous Amitabh Bachchan played the main character here.
