The future Russian entrepreneur was born in Yalta on May 25, 1954. Agurbash is Greek by nationality. From a young age, Kolya was actively involved in sports. Most of all he loved boxing and football. When the time came, he was drafted into the army. He served in the Far East. He started as a private, grew up to the foreman of an anti-aircraft battery.
Agurbash received a solid education. In 1983 he graduated from Moscow University (Faculty of Economics). He worked as the chief economist of the Department of statistics of the "agroprom" of the RSFSR. Subsequently, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Consolidated Planning Subdivision of the Planning and Economic Department of the State Agroprom for the Non-Black Earth Zone.
In 1991, Agurbash became a candidate of sciences, having successfully defended his dissertation. The topic of scientific work was related to agriculture. In 2006, Nikolai Georgievich became a doctor of sciences. He is an academician of the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship, as well as a full member of the International Academy of Management.
Entrepreneur career
In the midst of perestroika, cooperatives began to grow like mushrooms in the USSR. Economists have made a lot of efforts to find the most efficient forms of management. At that time, Agurbash worked at the State Agroprom. He could stay in the service, or he could go into the nascent system of entrepreneurship. And he chose the second option, taking the position of commercial director of one of the cooperatives, which was led by his good friend. And two months later, Agurbash decided to start his own business.
Since 1991 Nikolay Georgievich has been the founder of the Mortadel Firm. The company is located in the Moscow region, the village of Nagornoye. The direction of the firm's activity: production of delicacies and meat products.

Agurbash combines business activities with charitable activities, helping the Orthodox Church. The entrepreneur also runs a fund to support young talents. Thanks to this organization, many graduates of schools near Moscow have the opportunity to get higher education.
