Family, early years
Mikhail Sergeevich was born in Tomsk on August 19, 1981. His father worked in a bank. Mother was the head of the planning department in the fleet, she loved to read. The son also took a great interest in reading, preferring this occupation to games in the yard. However, as a teenager, Misha became known as a hooligan, on account of him several drives to the police.
The boy dreamed of becoming a builder, doctor, journalist. He read poetry perfectly, participated in reading contests. KVN
Having become a student, Mikhail entered the KVN university team “Big City Lights”. In the same period, he began to play at the Boniface Theater.
In 1999, Bashkatov became one of the organizers of the MaximuM team, which became the champion of KVN Tomsk. In 2003, Mikhail left the theater, deciding to engage only in KVN. In 2004, the team participated in the KVN Premier League, becoming champions in the first season.
In 2006 "MaximuM" was the second in the semifinals of the Major League, in 2007 the team advanced to the final, becoming the third in the final game. They became champions in 2008. In the same year they won the main prize at the festival "Voting KiViN". In total, Bashkatov has 31 games in KVN.
Work on TV
In 2009, Bashkatov was invited to become the host of the "Video Battle" program, then he hosted the "Random Liaisons" show, but the programs did not gain popularity.
The project "Give youth" was successful, where, besides Bashkatov, another member of the "MaximuM" team, Andrey Burkovsky, participated. The show became popular due to the variety of scenes, unexpected images. Mikhail has new fans.
