Vladimir Pavlovich Savelyev (known in the musical world as Asmolov) is a singer-songwriter. On the stage of the author's song, for more than half a century, he pleases with his work not only listeners in Russia, but also abroad. Savelyev Vladimir Pavlovich was born in the city of Stalino, today it is the city of Donetsk in Ukraine. Date of birth - November 15, 1946. Parents are cultural workers. Father - Pavel Trofimovich Savelyev, mother - Alexandra Ilyinichna Asmolova. Both were associated with theater and acting. The family was large. At school, Vladimir was distinguished by the fact that he wrote essays in literature lessons in poetic form. While serving in the army, in his spare time he wrote songs with a guitar.
In 1973, Vladimir received a teacher's diploma, graduating from the philological faculty of Donetsk University. It did not come to musical education, it was written from the heart. Everything worked out well without notes and without the ability to play the synthesizer.
Successful creativity
At the dawn of his musical career, V. Savelyev sang in Donetsk restaurants, bars and pubs. He took part in private parties and banquets of famous people. He liked his songs, and he understood that it was time to rise higher and achieve success on the Moscow stages. By that time, Vladimir had a decent number of songs. He wanted to be widely appreciated and loved.
In the mid-70s, Vladimir came to Moscow. It was not possible to cooperate with composers. There were first failures. But V. Asmolov nevertheless found a creative path and gradually walked towards success.
I met Alla Iopshe and Stakhan Rakhimov and worked with them for some time. In Moscow, Vladimir was recognized under the pseudonym "Asmolov". During this period, the song "Dance Floor" appeared.
In 1986, Vladimir released his first album "Girls-Venus". The names of the songs clearly show what worried the singer then. First and second love, Liang's girlfriend. Youth, falling in love, feelings and girls are the natural state of a young author.

About the album "Tin Soul"
The album turned out to be a collection of playful, light, comic songs that did not look like in albums with lyrical songs. The song "Racketmen" came to mind under the influence of an article in "Literaturnaya Gazeta". The author of the article, Shchekochikhin, wrote about the fate of athletes who left the sports arena. They are often left out of business. Reflections on this topic combined with racketeering events in the country of that time, and an interesting song "Racketmen" appeared.
About the album "Nostalgia"
The songs in the album are collected on the theme of political, economic and social turmoil in Russia. This is the only album of this kind in the work of V. Asmolov. He never returned to such songs, and lately he has gone deeply into the lyrics. "Insomnia" and "Boredom" are songs that Vladimir emphasizes. They have everything that is dear and close to him in this life. He recalls how often he sang them at live concerts, and regrets that these concerts were not recorded on video. Now he will never be able to sing them as sensually as he sang in the late 80s. Asmolov often makes the reservation that he is not a professional singer. The song is a memory of student love, of the inevitability of the past parting. Over the years, repentance and a desire to change everything come in order to receive forgiveness. The appearance of the song is amazing and is associated with ex-wife - Olga. She worked as a secretary in the Yu. Nikulin circus. Then Nikulin needed a song about the closure of the old circus, and he told Asmolov about it. The text written then contained the following lines: "Thank you circus for your holiday, a short date with a dream …" Later, Vladimir remade the words and the song "Autumn of Life" was created. This song accompanies Asmolov to this day and is for him the main song of his life.
