Step 1
First of all, evaluate the premises where the exhibition is taking place. Is there enough space in it, is it easy for guests to navigate in different rooms. Think about how logical the choice of exhibition site is as a whole and corresponds to the style and focus of the artists' work. Which of the design decisions do you remember, and which seemed uninteresting or, conversely, redundant. It is worth paying attention to the presence of armchairs or small sofas, from where visitors can calmly view the exhibits.
Step 2
Evaluate how the job information was presented. How are the booklets designed, is it possible to find information about the artist or sculptor and the direction to which he belongs. Pay attention to the carriers of information: whether all of it was presented in paper advertising brochures or part of it can be found on electronic stands.
Step 3
Determine the principle by which the exhibits were selected. How logical and consistent it is, whether the exposition includes creative projects of famous masters. Think about whether the organizers of the exhibition have managed to discover new names and attract enough attention to them.
Step 4
Consider the little things. Just as the seamstresses' skill is tested by examining the inside of the seam, so the quality of the exhibition organization is manifested, first of all, in the details. Pay attention to what kind of treat was offered to the guests, whether there was enough for all drinks and light snacks. Also evaluate the quality of the products themselves. Lighting plays an important role in organizing an exhibition. Think, was it too dark in the hall, or, on the contrary, the light was too bright? Inspect toilets and bathrooms.
Step 5
Consider the feedback from other visitors. If the venue has a wardrobe, listen to the conversations of people queuing for their coats. Many will want to share their impressions and, perhaps, you will hear what you yourself did not notice. In any case, you will be able to compare the reaction of others with your opinion.
