It seems that attaching a new star to shoulder straps is easier than easy, just make a hole and insert it. However, this is not the case. In order to appear before the authorities and subordinates in a new rank, you will have to arm yourself with an awl and a ruler. The fact is that according to Order No. 255 of May 28, 1994, the distance between the asterisks is strictly regulated.
It is necessary
- stars,
- awl,
- regular ruler,
- shoulder straps
Instructions
Step 1
So, let's try to arrange the stars according to all the rules:
Only the "correct" stars are needed, ie. faceted (Russian sample). Dull gray stars are attached to the field uniform, and golden stars are attached to other types of uniforms (ceremonial, everyday, etc.).
Step 2
Using a ruler, measure from the bottom edge of the shoulder strap 45 mm for junior lieutenants, 25 mm for lieutenants, 20 mm for senior lieutenants and captains - the center of the first sprocket will be located here.
Step 3
Carefully pierce a hole with an awl, insert and fasten the star (screw or fix with special "paws"). Attention should be paid to the strength of the fastening: the sprocket should not wobble.
Step 4
In the same way, place another asterisk on the officer's shoulder straps, taking into account that there should also be 25 mm between the centers of neighboring stars. The top stars for senior lieutenants and captains are attached at a distance of 20 mm from the line connecting the centers of the lower stars.
Step 5
Repeat all the above steps with the second shoulder strap.
