Instructions
Step 1
You have the right to obtain a residence permit in Moscow if you have temporarily lived in the capital for at least one year and can document that you have individual housing or other living space. Your children up to the age of 18 have the same right.
Step 2
To obtain a residence permit in Moscow, collect the package of necessary documents. Submit your national passport with a temporary registration stamp to the Federal Migration Service. Write the application in duplicate on the established forms.
Step 3
Document the fact that you can support yourself with your family, that is, you have a monthly income within the subsistence level. If you are disabled, provide a pension certificate or income statement of the person you are dependent on.
Step 4
Provide the FMS with notarized copies of birth certificates of children and you, marriage certificate. Have a notary certified the translation of the national passport and marriage certificate if the marriage was contracted outside the Russian Federation. Your family union must be legalized on the territory of Russia.
Step 5
Your child between the ages of 14 and 18 must give written consent to move to Moscow for permanent residence. Come with your child to a notary who will certify the signature of the minor.
Step 6
Attach copies of all sheets of the national passport and the identity document of the spouse to the package of documents. Prepare photos of the desired size in the amount of 4 pieces.
Step 7
Be sure to provide a certificate that you and your family members have not been infected with HIV. You will need a document issued by a health care institution, which confirms that you, like family members, are not sick with drug addiction and diseases that are dangerous to others.
Step 8
After the transfer of all completed documents to the FMS, wait for their consideration within six months. Therefore, pay attention to the expiration date of the temporary residence permit in the capital in order to complete the documents on time.
