Calls from Russia to Ukraine, since 2000, have been made in an international format. If before it was enough to dial the area code after the eight and a dial tone, now you also need a prefix for international calls and a country code.
It is necessary
- - mobile or landline phone or computer with Internet access and Scype program or similar;
- - sufficient funds to pay for the call (except for calls from a landline phone);
- - card of prepaid international and long-distance calls (optional);
- - country code (38), city or mobile operator and subscriber number.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are calling from a landline phone, dial the eight and wait for the dial tone, then dial “10”.
When calling from a mobile number, instead of eight and ten, press the plus (+) key and immediately, without waiting for a dial tone, dial the country code. The option of dialing 8-10 is also possible - the country code. When you are in the far abroad, instead of the combination 8-10, they usually dial "00". The + key on your mobile phone has the desired effect when calling from any country. The combination "+" and the country code is also used in Skype.
Step 2
When using a prepaid card, dial the number on it, enter the card code (located under the protective layer, which must first be erased), then follow the instructions of the autoinformer. If you call from a landline phone, usually it must be switched from pulse to tone mode.
Step 3
Then the following combination of numbers is used: Ukraine code 38, area code or mobile operator and subscriber number. If we hear short beeps, pause and repeat the call. For long ones, we wait for an answer and start a conversation. If the subscriber does not answer, we will call back later.
Step 4
When using a telephone card, you can also call the operator, dictate to him the card number, country and city or the mobile operator code and the telephone number of the subscriber. If you call from the post office, there are two options. First, you pay the operator an advance or insert a payment card into the pay phone (you can usually buy it from the operator of the post office, at newsstands, etc.), then the whole procedure is the same as when calling from a landline phone: 8- beep -10- 38- city or cellular operator code - subscriber's number. Alternative: dictate to the operator the country and city or cellular provider's code and subscriber's number, pay the required number of minutes and wait until they establish a connection and invite you to a conversation booth.
