“Everything that I have in my life”, “Beyond the Clouds”, “Near the Kryukovo Village” - almost all the songs of VIA “Gems” became hits. The Soviet and Russian vocal and instrumental ensemble was created by Yuri Malikov. In 2006, together with her father, Inna Malikova proposed the project "New Gems". The collective became a continuation of the popular group, giving its hits a new sound and style.
The team made its debut in November 2009 at the Jubilee Concert dedicated to the 35th anniversary of VIA "Gems". The bright group performs hits both domestic and foreign. The musicians immediately attracted attention. The public's love for the performers is not surprising: there is only high-quality music in their repertoire.
Continuation of the legend
The idea of creating a new team was born after a successful performance in a duet with Alexander Postolenko of Inna Malikova. The vocalists sang "Dawn, Sunset". In addition to them, the participants included Yana Daineko and Mikhail Veselov. TV presenter and actress Inna Malikova became the producer of the collective. Very soon the guys took one of the highest positions on the national stage.
Professional artists did not have to explain the importance of a modern approach to creativity and the importance of live sound. The main task of the ensemble was to preserve the best "Gems" according to new trends. It was actively planned to use technical musical innovations.
In 2009, the musicians released their first album. It includes 13 compositions from the "Gems" repertoire.
Especially for the team, Sergei Revdin wrote the song "Do you remember Modern Talking" in 2012. Soon a video was shot for it. In 2014, listeners received a collection of hits “All life is ahead, hope and burn!”. In addition to domestic hits, it contains the best songs of foreign pop music. The concert-presentation of the novelty took place on October 12.

The video for the song "The World is Not Simple" became a surprise to the fans. The director's original and bold interpretation successfully combined the past, present and future. The group celebrated its tenth anniversary in the spring of 2016 with a festive performance at the Backstage Crocus City.
For the 30th anniversary of Dmitry Malikov's hit "You will never be mine" in 2017, the musicians prepared the author's version of the remake.
The 12th anniversary of creativity was celebrated with the third collection - "12". It was composed not only of famous songs of different years, but also new ones. Among them are "Wounds", "Glue". The team presented the video for the last song in the spring of 2018. The main roles in it were played by Dmitry Pevtsov and Inna Malikova.

The new creation of the musicians is the single "Moonlit Night". It sounded for the first time in winter in 2019, Georgy Volev shot a video for the composition. Children often participate in various TV programs and concerts. They sang at the Blue Light”and“Saturday Night”.
