Biography
Egor (Georgy) Dronov was born in Moscow in April 1971. Parents had nothing to do with the acting profession. Father is an engineer. Mother dedicated her life to Egor and his younger brother. By the way, Yegor Dronov was called from childhood, now this name remains only for a close circle of people. For everyone else, he is George.
Dronov did not fulfill his parents' dream of seeing his son as an engineer, and after school he submitted documents to the Moscow State Institute of Culture for the faculty of directing theatrical mass performances. Admission for yesterday's schoolboy turned out to be a real surprise, since Georgy practically did not prepare for exams. In 1992, Dronov received a diploma from the Moscow State Institute of Cinematography and decided to take another risk by submitting documents to the Shchepka (Shchepkin Higher Theater School). Luck smiled at the future actor once again. Georgy entered the first time and was enrolled in the course of Viktor Korshunov.
Career
Dronov's first appearance on the theatrical stage took place at the Institute of Culture. The 19-year-old actor was entrusted with a small role in the play "Notes of a Madman". After college, Georgy worked at the theater "On the South-West". A little later he transferred to the service at the State Academic Maly Theater.
Work in the cinema began with cameo roles, and the first serious project was the sitcom Sasha + Masha, where Dronov played in tandem with Elena Biryukova. The series brought frenzied popularity to the actor and they began to invite him to auditions more often. The Voronins became the second fateful project for Dronov. Despite many other characteristic roles, the actor is more often perceived precisely as the hero of the series - the sports journalist Kostya. The audience loved the project so much that more than 20 seasons have already appeared on television.
As a director, Georgy Dronov made his debut in the sitcom Happy Together. For the Lean-M production center, the project has become one of the most profitable in the entire history of its existence. The life of the shoe seller Gena Bukin, his wife Dasha and the children of Sveta and Roma were watched with pleasure on the air for 7 years.

The tall, stately actor never had problems with his personal life, he always enjoyed the attention of the opposite sex. For five years Georgy lived in a civil marriage with Tatyana Miroshnikova.
