Biography of Vyacheslav Fetisov

Vyacheslav Alexandrovich is a native Muscovite. He was born on April 20, 1958 in Moscow, in the family of capital workers of one of the aircraft factories. The family lived in a simple factory barrack, in a cramped little room, with two children, Slava and Anatoly. The boys' dad was passionate about sports - he played in the football team of the plant, where he worked, was engaged in boxing. The presence of a hockey rink within walking distance from home determined the fate of Vyacheslav Fetisov - so that the boys did not hang out in the yard, their father took them there.

A close-knit and well-coordinated team of simple courtyard boys was able to put together an enthusiast, a hockey fan, Boris Bervinov. Being an ardent fan of this sport, he managed to involve and interest the children. Glory literally disappeared on the hockey rink, sometimes forgetting about family responsibilities and studying in high school. He had one goal - to learn how to play hockey. But his brother Anatoly did not succeed in his sports career.

The team led by coach Bervinov managed to win not only in regional competitions, but also in urban ones. It was there that the gifted hockey player Slava Fetisov was noticed by his future mentor from CSKA, Yuri Chabarin. With his light hand, the boy went first to the youth reserve school of CSKA, and then to the Military Institute of Physical Education of the city of Leningrad. This is how the sports career of the legendary Russian hockey player Vyacheslav Alexandrovich Fetisov began, which continues to this day, despite his age.

Family of Vyacheslav Fetisov

Success did not affect the personal life of the legendary hockey player Vyacheslav Fetisov. Unlike most public and famous people, he lived his entire life with a single woman, his wife Lada, nee Sergievskaya. The following is known about the only woman for Fetisov, his wife:

  • was born in Ufa in 1959,
  • Lada's parents are a football player and a gymnast,
  • until the age of 16 she was engaged in gymnastics,
  • graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physical Education,
  • for a long time she was a coach in rhythmic gymnastics,
  • starred in films and commercials,
  • was an assistant to Igor Kio, danced in a variety show.

For Ladlena Sergievskaya, marriage with Vyacheslav Fetisov is not the first. She was married to the famous football player Khidiyatullin Vagiz. Vyacheslav's courtship began even when Lada was married. The irony of fate was that Slava lived on the same site with the Khidiyatullinov family, and after his persistent courting, Lada gave up and moved “to the apartment opposite”.

The couple formalized their marriage after 7 years, overcoming the general condemnation and rejection of their relationship. In 1990, they had a daughter, Anastasia Vyacheslavovna (date of birth - July 10), who became both a citizen of the Russian Federation and a citizen of the United States - at that time the family lived in America, where Vyacheslav played in the team of the Detroit Red Wings hockey club.

None of his initiatives remained unheard, most of them were adopted by the State Duma, and projects on them are actively developing. How many young hockey players he gave the opportunity to enter professional sports, it is impossible to say.
