Many young people dream of serving in the police force. Someone wants to establish justice, someone wants to check the execution of the rules, and someone wants to catch criminals. But the desire to serve in the police is not enough, you need to prepare for this, both physically and mentally.

Step 1
Contact the HR department of your local police department or the Home Office. Write an application for hiring you for the police. You will be given a list of required documents. Submit to the HR department a diploma of education, a pension certificate, a certificate of tax registration, a description from the place of residence from several neighbors, from the last place of work, a certificate from a neuropsychiatric dispensary and narcological dispensary. Get a personal guarantee from an employee of the internal affairs bodies with at least three years of work experience. On the basis of the documents submitted and your personal data, the HR department decides the issue of your employment. If you receive a positive answer, you are referred to the military medical commission.
Step 2
Pass the military medical commission. The commission consists of doctors of various specialties, as well as psychologists. Take a psychological test on the motivations that led to your desire to serve in the police. This moment is the most difficult, so prepare yourself for it mentally. Along with the commission, you will be checked for incriminating circumstances. Police officers find out if you have a criminal record, as well as a criminal record from your next of kin (parents, children, brothers and sisters). On the basis of the commission, doctors will draw up a medical and psychological opinion on you, which is of a recommendatory nature.
Step 3
Bring in all the remaining documents that will be needed during the passage of the commission. All documents regarding you are transferred to the personnel department, where the final decision is made on the acceptance of you into the police service. Your position will depend on your background and education. If you are hired, you will be given a probationary period of three to six months.
