If you need to send a letter to Spain, please note that there are certain differences between sending domestic and international correspondence. They must be taken into account in order for your message to reach the right place.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the address where you need to send the letter. When writing it, follow the rules of Spain. Start the address with the name of the street, and with an abbreviation indicating whether it is a street or avenue. For example, a street is written as c / or as cl. This is followed by the number of the entrance, since the numbering of houses according to the Russian system in Spain is not used. For streets consisting of a single-access building, the designation s / n is put. After the entrance number, write down the floor. Please note that the first floor in Spain is called the bajo, and the second is called the first. Then indicate the apartment number or its letter designation. These coordinates are followed by the name of the city and country. The postal code in Spain consists of five digits, therefore, on the Russian envelope, the last column of the destination code should be left blank. Before the address, write the name of the person to whom the message is intended.
Step 2
Send the letter by regular mail. To do this, contact one of the Russian Post offices. Buy an international shipping envelope. The number of stamps and the cost will be indicated to you by the postal officer. Express or air mail can be ordered if needed. For particularly important documents, pay for a letter with a declared value. In this case, if you lose it, you will receive a refund. Expect your letter to go on for at least a week, and possibly two.
Step 3
If you need to send an urgent message, use a private mail service such as FedEx. In this case, your letter will arrive in two or three days, but it will cost much more. Contact one of the offices of such postal operators and fill out a receipt with the recipient's address and your coordinates. You will receive an individual letter number by which you can track whether it has been delivered via the Internet.
