Step 1
In your application for refugee status, write clearly and concisely everything related to persecution of you, your discrimination on any grounds, moral or physical pressure on the part of state structures. Step 2
If you are sure that your chosen lawyer has already dealt with similar immigration cases, obey him implicitly. He should prepare you for the crucial interview with either an employee of the US Department of Immigration and Naturalization or an employee of the US Embassy in your country. The decision on your application will depend on this conversation.
Step 3
If you have no desire to deal with lawyers and you are confident in yourself, contact the American Embassy on your own. Step 4
