In the spring of 1992, the National Guard of Kyrgyzstan under the Ministry of Defense admitted new recruits to its ranks, who are supposed to provide the republic with security. In the middle of the summer they took the oath. That is why on July 19, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan traditionally celebrates the National Guard Day every year.
In honor of the celebration, a holiday is usually held in the special-purpose military town "Panther". The guests of honor at it are representatives of the Presidential Administration of the country and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense. As well as persons holding the posts of secretary of the Defense Council and deputy speakers of parliament.
According to custom, the event takes place in a festive atmosphere. All invitees have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the equipment of the guardsmen: military uniform, communication equipment and samples of weapons. Along with this, you can explore well-equipped training and living quarters: barracks, shooting range and gym.
It just so happened that on this day the National Guard shows officials all their skills in martial arts. For example, there is an unwritten law according to which a company of the guard of honor demonstrates all of its marching techniques. And the Panther special-purpose unit, as usual, presents the audience with hand-to-hand combat techniques, elements of an operation to free the hostages.
From year to year, representatives of the authorities can invariably observe the passage of classes in fire and airborne training. As a rule, all these festive events are accompanied by marches of a military band. In turn, representatives of the headquarters command inform the authorities about the state of affairs in the military formation.
In 2012, it was already 20 years since the first recruits were sworn in. Today, the department contains 4 detachments. Each of them performs its own functions.
The training squad is a training place for soldiers and sergeants. The detachment that provides the guard with equipment, property and food is classified as material and technical. There is also a special forces unit that directly performs all military tasks. They are entrusted with the responsibility to carry out marches at any time of the day or night. There is also an honor guard in the guard, which usually greets important guests, including heads of state. In addition, he guards important government facilities.
According to the established regulations, the head of the country's presidential office solemnly speaks to the guards with a congratulatory speech, in which, as a rule, deserved respect and gratitude to the guards for serving the Motherland are shown. The parting word traditionally notes that Kyrgyzstan has high hopes for the might of the National Guard. The head, as usual, wishes the entire military personnel further success in service, family well-being, longevity and, of course, good health.
