Anna Molchanova is a Russian theater and film actress, known to viewers for her roles in the TV series Streets of Broken Lights. The wife of one of the leading filmmakers of Russia Alexei Viktorovich Kozlov.
Biography
Anna was born at the end of May 1974 in the city on the Neva, which was then called Leningrad. The men in her family have been church ministers for generations, which could not but affect the upbringing of her daughter.
Since childhood, a modest, shy, diligent girl dreamed of being an actress, and her parents almost did not limit her hobbies, but first, according to her father, Anna had to get some kind of serious education. Therefore, after graduating from school, the future actress entered the philological college. By the way, this education seriously helped her in her work on television.
Then Molchanova studied at the St. Petersburg film school and at the Studio "Theater of Generations", which appeared in 1991 in St. Petersburg, thanks to the efforts of the famous Zinovy Korogodsky and combines the training of applicants in contemporary art and classical drama.
Career
The actress made her debut on the screen in 1994, appearing in the film "Rains in the Ocean" (based on the book of the Russian science fiction writer Belyaev "Island of Lost Ships") in the title role. There is a real drama associated with this picture.
This is a philosophical film of repentance that explores the deepest human emotions. The story is that by ceasing to distinguish between good and evil, a person loses his soul and a terrible fate awaits him. The director of the Artists, who began filming, died tragically, but Mamaev finished his work and the picture was released.

But the recognition of the general public came to the actress later, when she played in the serial crime drama Streets of Broken Lanterns, which appeared on the screens in 1997. Since then, every year the actress took part in various projects, but in 2005, due to pregnancy, she left the set, not intending to return there, wanting to devote her life to her family. But Molchanova's active nature did not allow her to stay at home - and soon after the birth of her son, she was actively engaged in dubbing films, translating serious scientific publications, and editing scripts. And only in 2015, Anna returned to the screen in her husband's film "Prohibition", who wrote a role specifically for his wife.
Personal life
Anna met her future husband on the set. Alexey Kozlov is older than his wife for a decade and a half. He is from Yakutia, a former actor, and today is the head of the KontAkt production and AlexFilm studios, director, producer and screenwriter. In 2006, the star couple had a son, Yegor.
