Masha's tales
The first spin-off of the animated series, released the year before last, was called Fairy Tale Machines and consisted of 26 episodes based on Russian fairy tales. Today "Masha and the Bear" has 42 episodes - for the period from 2009 to 2013, the creators of the cartoon drew 38 episodes, and in 2014 4 new episodes were released.
Several episodes of Masha and the Bear have received many awards at various international festivals, including for the best television animated series. Human voices for Masha and the bear were presented by Alina Kukushkina and Boris Kutnev.
The only human character in the cartoon is the girl Masha, who has a kind, sympathetic and spontaneous character. Masha loves sweets, lollipops, games with cups, balls and awards. She is very curious and energetic - often Masha asks different questions, jumps in a bucket, watches cartoons and tells fairy tales.
In addition, the girl knows how to walk by moonwalk, slightly squints her eyes, knows how to fight in hand-to-hand style and makes excellent jam. Masha does not know how to cook dumplings and porridge, loses in hockey to a penguin and a hare, plays chess beautifully and masterfully handles a carpentry instrument and an electric guitar.
Machine Bear
A bear named Misha in the past was a very popular circus performer who had many awards, medals and cups. He is retired, loves to polish his treasures to a shine and strives for peace, quiet and comfort. Masha, in every possible way, violates the quiet life of the bear with her pranks - because because of her too active character, the inhabitants of the yard refuse to play with her. The bear wants only one thing - to calmly deal with his bees, a vegetable garden and a flower bed, watch football, go fishing and eat honey.
In addition to the girl and the bear, the cartoon also contains minor characters - a bear with which Misha the bear is unrequitedly in love, a hare stealing carrots from Misha's garden, wolves suffering from Machine's mischief, and a squirrel fighting off Masha with pine cones.
In addition, in the forest live: a hedgehog, which sometimes plays pranks with a girl, a panda, pets (a pig, chickens, a goat, a rooster and a dog), a tiger, Misha's old friend in the circus, and a penguin who is Misha's adopted son. Also in the cartoon you can see Santa Claus, the Himalayan bear, Misha's rival in love affairs, evil but funny bees and Dasha, Masha's twin.
