First, try calling the person who is missing. Perhaps he does not answer or is unavailable because the battery has run out or the phone simply turned off accidentally, and after a while he will be able to pick up the receiver.

Call the friends and acquaintances of the missing person. Find out if he is visiting them or if they know where he could go. Most often, the missing children are kept by friends. Since children can lie and cover for each other, call the child's parents right away.
If a person is registered in social networks, track on the Internet if he has appeared somewhere online. This is a good sign.

Call or go yourself to places where the missing person might be - cafes, bars, restaurants, etc. If the missing person abuses alcohol, call the sobering-up centers and ask if someone like him was brought there.

Contact the police. There is an opinion that they will not accept a report of loss if less than three days have passed.
