Education is one of the main things that leave the life of human society. It always exists in three forms: state, public and personal.
Originally from the past
Problems in education did not arise overnight. They have always been, because education is a constantly developing and improving system.
In the middle of the 20th century, education in Russia reached an unattainable height in comparison with the global level. In the land of the Soviets, it was possible to introduce universal secondary education everywhere. Universities producing high-quality specialists, which have dispersed all over the world, were in good standing. Chemistry, physics and other sciences - Russian scientists were nowhere equal.
However, then a period of some kind of recession began, when the countries of the West began to intensively develop and invest funds in their education system and caught up with the USSR. This was influenced by the situation in the country as a whole. Socio-economic, political problems, a change in the ideology and consciousness of the average Soviet citizen - all this changed the social order.
It is worth remembering that the development of education and the modification of its system are always associated with the social order of society, with what kind of citizen should be obtained “at the end”. In the middle of the 20th century, he was the builder of communism, respectively, upbringing and education - from the nursery to the institute - were built under this order.
Today the situation has changed radically. Over the decades, the cultural stratum of Russian society has become thinner. The "stratum" of the intelligentsia that existed before has thinned out. New priorities have emerged - money, career, personal well-being. Depending on this, promising new professions are gaining popularity: programmer, lawyer, etc. Teachers, doctors, engineers have lost their social status and former respect for the profession.
The youth, in turn, fully appreciated the lack of demand in the society for knowledge and talent. Family, community, mutual understanding are no longer so important for young people. Society has split, the sense of community has been lost.
Education today
With the onset of the difficult 90s, there was a turnover of staff from the school. At present, we can say that in Russia the process of feminization of the staff at school is in full swing. This is due to the relatively low salary of the teacher and, in comparison with this, the high requirements for the level and quality of work. Men leave for more prestigious and monetary professions.
However, it should be said that, despite all the difficulties, Russian education is gradually again taking the leading positions in the world community. Yes, the old system collapsed and became obsolete. But today the student and his parent have the right to choose the type of educational institution that is closer to him. Previously, the school was unified. Education has become more democratic, mobile and flexible. And this is its main advantage in comparison with the old approach.
Gradually, the modern Russian school is becoming more perfect in terms of material and technical security. All educational institutions have computers with high-speed Internet access. Electronic diaries and journals and other information technologies are being actively introduced to make life and work easier for teachers, students and parents.
Thus, the modern school still has room to grow, but a good foundation has already been laid for the future of Russian society.
