At the post of mayor

Andrey Danilenko's general public service experience was about thirty years. He was elected Mayor of Yevpatoria six times. This is evidence of the high confidence in the politician on the part of the city residents. Danilenko is one of the few mayors of Crimea who was actively supported by the Crimean Tatars living on the peninsula.

In 2009 Danilenko became one of the three best mayors of Ukraine and won the national program "Person of the Year".

As the mayor of Yevpatoria, the Ukrainian politician worked for a total of 22 years. His colleagues and subordinates noted that Danilenko was always full of new ideas that contributed to the prosperity of the city. Another valuable quality of the city leader is that he has always achieved the implementation of his creative ideas. As mayor, Andrey Petrovich managed to realize his desire for creativity and creation.

During the period of permanent work in Yevpatoria, Danilenko received more than once offers to take a higher post - both on the peninsula and in the capital of Ukraine. However, the politician remained loyal to his city. He stated that he would work in Evpatoria as long as the townspeople needed it. Danilenko was always interested in how the population of Evpatoria lives, what the city needs.

Danilenko paid special attention to the work of the municipal services of Evpatoria, thanks to which the city was for many years among the most comfortable in Ukraine. The Gorky Embankment, reconstructed at the insistence of the mayor, has become a favorite place of recreation for the townspeople.

Thanks to the efforts of Danilenko and members of his management team, in 2012 Evpatoria entered the "twenty" cities that are recognized in Ukraine as the most comfortable to live in.
