According to the teachings of the Christian Church, Christ came into the world in order to save people. He took a human body, becoming a God-man, and died on the cross for the sins of the world, and then resurrected and ascended into heaven. The gospels say that there will be a second glorious coming of the Lord.

For the first time, the Lord Jesus Christ revealed himself to the world in a meek and humble manner. He was born in a cattle pen, and his death was a shame and humiliation. But this is how God decides to save man. This was to be the first coming of the Lord into the world.

After the Lord visibly left the earth (ascended to heaven), angels appeared in the air, announcing to the apostles that the disciples would again see the Lord as he had ascended to heaven. The Christian Church says that the second coming of Christ will surely take place. However, in the latter case, the Lord's meekness and humility will no longer be shown.

The main purpose of the second coming of Jesus will be the universal judgment of mankind. Moreover, not only the living will be asked about their sins, but all people who have lived on earth will be resurrected for this. It turns out that the second coming of Christ is the judgment of all mankind by God. Now the Lord will appear in all his glory with thousands of angels and saints. The Second Coming will be the complete opposite of the Incarnation. In the first case, everything was humble and inglorious, and at the Last Judgment, the glory of Christ's Deity will be manifested in all its majesty.

On this day, the worthy will inherit the eternal kingdom of heaven, and sinners will be tormented. Sometimes the second coming is called a terrible day, because it is very scary to appear before the judgment of God. Also, sometimes the end of the world (apocalypse) is associated with the second coming of Christ.
