Roman Kartsev was born in Odessa in May 1939. By the way, the real name of the actor is Katz. The mother of the future comedian was an intelligent woman holding the post of secretary in the party organization. My father came from a large family, was a professional football player. Creation
Roman Kartsev began to attend the drama club at the Palace of Culture. The talented young man quickly attracted attention and was invited to the student amateur theater. There he met Mikhail Zhvanetsky and Viktor Ilchenko. The friendship of men lasted for many years.
In the 60s, Kartsev left for Leningrad, where he was immediately accepted into the theater of Arkady Raikin. Performing a duet with Ilchenko, he received the first audience attention. Roman Kartsev was married once, although he was known as an amorous young man. In 1970 he married Victoria Kassinskaya. His wife was 10 centimeters taller and 10 years younger. Death
