Anastasia Egorova is a Russian biathlete. She won the bronze medal in the sprint at the Winter Universiade in 2017. The winner of the IBU Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk in 2018 won silver in the pursuit and sprint, and became the champion of Russia in the individual 15 km race.
Yesterday's junior, promising biathlete Anastasia Sergeevna Yegorova triumphantly won the Russian championship. So far, the athlete does not have multiple merits in the professional field, but both the media and fans are already interested in her career.
The beginning of the ascent to the sports Olympus
The biography of the future champion began in 1994. The girl was born on July 13 in Murmansk. Little is known about the athlete's family; Anastasia did not provide any information about her parents.
She started her sports career in the Murmansk Sports School No. 3. Ekaterina Mikhailovna Pyanova became the girl's first mentor. She developed a love for sports in her student, managed to teach her to achieve victories and the implementation of tasks. Pyanova was recognized at that time in the city as the best young mentor.
For the first time, Yegorova became interested in biathlon at the age of twelve. At first, the training did not give promising results. However, the athlete did not stop practicing, persistently seeking positive changes.
The athlete decided to get her education at the Technical State University of Murmansk. The training was completed in 2016. Anastasia was awarded a diploma in the specialty "Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes."
Achievements
The sports world did not notice its new inhabitant for a long time. The girls were not on the lists of prize-winners either after performing for the regional team in junior competitions, or as part of an adult team.
During the transition to the senior squad, the coach changed. Egorova's mentors were an experienced teacher who raised many athletes, Sergei Konstantinovich Subbotin, head coach of the Olympic reserve school, and Alexander Yurievich Kachanovsky. In 2015, hard training under his leadership yielded results. Anastasia received the title of Master of Sports.
The girl announced herself as a promising biathlete in 2017. Known only to a narrow circle of Murmansk fans, Yegorova became the third in the sprint at the Winter Universiade held in Almaty, yielding to more experienced racers from Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Enrollment in the reserve of the Russian national biathlon team was successful under the mentorship of Vitaly Noritsyn. In 2009, the experienced biathlete was the champion of the country. He won not only the classical, but also the summer biathlon. At the European Championship in Ufa, Noritsyn was a member of the national team. The biathlete ran the relay stage with Schrader, Shipulin and Vasiliev. The result of the race was "bronze".
In 2012, Vitaly began his coaching career, soon becoming a senior mentor in the country's women's national team. Yegorova remembers working with him with gratitude. It is his leadership that she calls the main reason for her brilliant victories.
Hobbies and family
Nothing is known about Anastasia's personal life. The girl is completely focused on her career. Constant training, busy schedules, and competition don't provide any opportunities to develop relationships and romance. Judging by the biathlete's Instagram, her only romantic hobby so far is sports.
A student of the Murmansk State Technical University, athlete Anastasia Sergeevna Egorova, was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia in 2015.
However, in addition to biathlon, Yegorova is fond of athletics. In 2016, Nastya managed to win the Murmansk Region Championship Cup in this sport.
The girl loves literature very much. She strives to spend as much time as possible with her relatives and family. More than once in social networks, the biathlete admitted that she misses home, is always glad to see her parents and friends.
2018 became a triumph for the athlete. It was during this period that a real breakthrough took place. No one expected such accomplishments from an inexperienced and inconspicuous biathlete. In Khanty-Mansiysk, Nastya declared herself as a strong fighter. At the IBU Cup, the girl became the second in the pursuit and sprint.
Prospects and plans
Then there was a powerful and swift victory in the individual 15 km race in 2018 at the national championship. The girl failed to shoot without misses. She admits that for this part she does not belong to the strongest participants. Never in the entire time of her biathlon training did Yegorova manage to reach the top of the shooting rating.
The famous biathlete successfully removed her not the strongest sides by skillfully passing the distance. Within a couple of seconds, Nastya bypassed her rival. Neither misses nor penalty time became a hindrance. An impressive prize has become an important and very stimulating bonus. Egorova admitted in an interview that in Murmansk biathlon funding is unstable, but thanks to her success there is hope for a change for the better.
The whole future fate of the promising biathlete was turned upside down by an unexpected championship. Nastya's victory proved that a new generation of athletes is able to delight and amaze fans. Such a bright take-off was the reason for the girl's enrollment in the main squad of the national team for the next season.
Egorova's potential is impressive. She has something to strive for, and there is something else to work on. The victory at the Russian championship showed that Anastasia far surpasses her rivals and is capable of becoming worthy competitors to the recognized biathlon stars.
