Starting conditions

The fate of each person is largely determined by the circle of close relatives. The future musician and performer of his own songs was born on February 18, 1952 in an ordinary Soviet family. At that time, the parents lived in the village of Berezovo, which is located in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. A year later, the younger brother Vasily appeared in the house. A few months after this event, my father was transferred to a new place of work in the Moscow region of Lyubertsy. The head of the family held the position of chief mechanic at an enterprise that produces agricultural machinery. Mother worked as an engineer at an electric lamp factory.

Alexander began to show his musical and vocal abilities early. Already in kindergarten, he sang in the choir with his younger brother. The head of the family played well the string instruments - the guitar and the balalaika. Once he gave Sasha a mandolin. The boy expressed a desire to learn musical notation and he was enrolled in a music school, where he learned to play domra. In the eighth grade, Barykin, together with his friend Andrei Lykov, organized a school vocal and instrumental ensemble "Allegro". Young musicians played at special events, dance floors and on the stage of the local house of culture.

Creative activity

After leaving school, in 1969, Barykin was drafted into the ranks of the armed forces. The conscript took his guitar with him. He was immediately appointed company leader as the lead singer. In his free time, Alexander sang songs of his own composition for his colleagues. Returning to civilian life, he entered the vocal department of the Gnessin Music College. In 1973, Barykin was invited to the Muscovites group. In a short time, he showed himself and became a soloist of the ensemble. And that was just the beginning.

The talented performer was noticed and invited to the most famous at that time in the Soviet Union, the group "Merry Boys". It was in this group that Barykin performed the songs "Eternal Spring", "I Will Not Approach You", "Invitation to Travel", which became hits for a long time. Over the next few years, Alexander played in the group "Gems", "Pearls" and others. Finally, in 1979, he managed to form his own creative team, which became known as "Carnival".

Recognition and privacy

Many songs of Alexander Barykin became hits for a long time. Suffice it to name "Airport", "Bouquet", "Ocean". Working with the Carnival group, the composer regularly recorded albums and records. Videos for Alexander's songs regularly appeared on television.

The musician's personal life cannot be called stable. Alexander was legally married twice. He lived with his first wife Galina for 30 years. A son and a daughter were born in the marriage. With his second wife, whose name was Nelly, Barykin spent almost six years. Husband and wife worked in the same team. Composer and singer Alexander Barykin died suddenly in March 2011 during a tour to Orenburg. The musician is buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.
