It is no secret that Russia is a unique country with a huge potential of human, energy and other resources, but a country that ranks among the first in terms of poverty. And for some reason her position is not improving. Whether the Romanovs or Soviet comrades were in power, or whether a new government is building a new democratic state on the ruins of the former USSR, it does not matter, the concept of poverty remains with the Russian people forever. So what can you do about it?

Step 1

In order to eradicate poverty, it is necessary to unite the efforts of people working in different spheres - economy, politics, medicine, in the spheres of culture and education. After all, what, in essence, are the causes of poverty? It is not necessary to think for a long time, it is enough to look around you - this is low wages and unemployment, among social factors - child neglect, disability; political - conflicts, disintegration of the country, forced migration - all this in aggregate and answers the question posed.

Step 2

But the problem is much deeper than that. We raise children with a consciousness of poverty, with disrespect for ourselves, with high needs, but a dislike for work. Therefore, first of all, it is necessary to start the education of society from the school bench. And it is then to instill the doctrine and knowledge that a strong healthy state will be only if the mentality of our society changes.

Step 3

Unfortunately, there are no ready-made solutions to the fight against poverty. But the most important areas in the fight against poverty should be the effective establishment of cooperation between the three sectors of civil society - political power, business and non-governmental organizations.

Step 4

It is necessary to increase the importance of trade unions as an intermediary structure between the interests of the employer and the employee. The role of trade unions cannot be underestimated, especially in the field of working with the poor, disabled people, single-parent families, and young people. In the West, trade unions are a real social force, to which both the government and business listen. In Russia, however, trade unions are considered an obsolete element of the Soviet past, their importance and effectiveness are underestimated.

Step 5

When solving the problem of poverty, the state should become a guarantor of social protection for the poor, while it should not encourage dependent attitudes in society.

Step 6

It should be said that without increasing wages, providing citizens with housing, increasing jobs, reducing corruption and bureaucracy - without all these important points, people with average income will no longer exist.

Step 7

This issue is not a problem of one person, it is a problem of the country in which our children will live. Of course, poverty cannot be eradicated altogether, but this does not mean that it does not need to be tackled.
