Sergei Stillavin was born in 1973 in St. Petersburg. His surname is nothing more than a pseudonym derived from the English phrase “still lovin”, which can be translated as “I still love”. Sergei changed his own surname, Mikhailov, at the beginning of his journalistic career. He said more than once that in his youth he had difficulties with the recognition of his girlfriend's feelings, which served as the basis for the pseudonym.
As for the early years of Sergei's life, from childhood he was fond of everything related to technology and inventions, but his studies at school with a mathematical bias were poorly given to him. Then he tried to enter a humanitarian institute, but dropped it, realizing that he was not interested in education. Stillavin got a job as a correspondent for the Slavyanskiy Bazar magazine, where he ran a column on real estate in the Northern capital. After a while, he began working at Radio Modern, where he met and met many stars of show business, as well as his future work partner and best friend Gennady Bachinsky.
The friends decided to start their own morning show called "Two in One". The program quickly gained popularity, and the presenters were invited by "Russian Radio", but Bachinsky and Stillavin preferred radio "Maximum" to him. After giving him five years of work, the friends switched to Mayak, but in 2008 Gennady Bachinsky tragically died in a car accident. Sergei was very upset about the loss, but did not quit his job on the radio. He also started working in television.
Stillavin's first television project was The Golden Duck on NTV. The program focused on celebrity news and gossip. And since 2012, Sergei, together with Rustam Vakhidov, began to broadcast Big Test Drive on the Russia-2 channel. Stillavin and Vakhidov also run the channel of the same name on YouTube, posting extended versions of the television show and videos in the video blog format. Despite his cheerful and sociable nature, Sergei Stillavin practically does not disclose the details of his personal life. It is known that in his youth he was married, but the marriage did not last long. The journalist has one child - daughter Maria. According to rumors, she was born during one of the civil relations, of which there were many in Stillavin's life.
Now the showman continues to work on the program "Sergei Stillavin and His Friends" on the radio "Mayak", as well as on the "Big Test Drive" project.
