Dmitry Kugryshev is a Russian hockey player and striker. He showed his talent in youth teams, which contributed to the departure of the striker to North America. Several seasons spent overseas allowed the player to gain experience, but Dmitry failed to gain a foothold in the NHL club.

Dmitry Dmitrievich Kugryshev was born in a difficult time for the country - in the last year before the collapse of the USSR. The date of birth in the player's biography is January 18, 1990. Place of birth - Balakovo. The boy grew up in a difficult time in the nineties. That era was conducive to the fact that young children from childhood brought up character in themselves. For this, father sent Dmitry to a hockey school. In the sports section, the boy received his first hockey education, began to temper his character.

The beginning of the career of Dmitry Kugryshev

The striker's career began in the system of junior and youth teams of CSKA. From 2006 to 2008, the athlete gained experience, gained knowledge and subsequently, with his game, attracted the attention of breeders from Washington.

In 2008, after the "capital" drafted the striker, Kugryshev went to North America. His first team was a club from the Quebec junior league "Quebec Rampards". For the team, the forward played two seasons, but never received an invitation to any club from the NHL. However, creativity in owning the puck, attacking manner of the player could not fail to attract the attention of overseas specialists. In the 2008-2009 season, Dmitry received the award for the best attacking rookie player in the Quebec League "Michel Bergeron Trophy".

In 2010-2011, Dmitry Kugryshev moved to the United States, where he played in the second most important hockey league in North America - the AHL. It is noteworthy that in one season the forward went on the ice with two different teams at once: Hershey Bears and South Carolina Stingrays.

Despite the great work done, Kugryshev did not find success in his North American career. In 2011, he was forced to return to Russia.

Returning to his homeland, Dmitry first joined the ranks of the CSKA youth team "Red Army". But he did not finish the season until the end, because in the 2011-2012 season he was already called up to the main team of the “army men” of Moscow. In his first season in the KHL, Kugryshev played 41 matches and two more in a series of elimination games. The forward also spent the next season with CSKA.

The next stage in the player's career was the transition to Novosibirsk Siberia. In this team, the striker began to score much more often. His statistics for two seasons: 103 games in the regular season, 32 goals and 44 assists. For Siberia, Kugryshev played 26 games in the playoffs, scored five times and helped his teammates to do it nine times.

Dmitry spent the 2015–2017 seasons at CSKA again, after which he again changed his place of work. His career includes Avangard Omsk and Salavat Yulaev Ufa, in which the striker continues to play.

The main club achievements of Kugryshev are bronze medals of the KHL Championship 2014 - 2015, silver in the 2016 Gagarin Cup.

Dmitry also took part in the matches for the youth teams of Russia. He has the gold of the 2007 Junior World Cup, the silver of the JChM - 2008, the bronze of the MFM in 2008 and 2009.
