Step 1
Try entering your first and last name into any of the internet search engines and look at the results. If the first and last name is common enough, you can add to them, for example, your city of residence or any other information depending on what exactly you want to know. For example, if you took part in any competition or had newspapers, magazines, or Internet portals written about you, try specifying the year and location of the corresponding competition or publication of material about you in publications. You can quickly find links to resources containing information about you. Also, such actions will help you find sites on which you registered earlier, but forgot their addresses or lost access to your account.
Step 2
Take advantage of social networks and other resources for communication (forums, chats, etc.). It also has its own internal search engines through which you can try to find out something about yourself. Perhaps some of the people mentioned you in their posts, discussions and various publications. Please note that you will most likely have to go through the quick registration procedure on the relevant resources beforehand.
Step 3
Search several public portals for your country, region or city. For example, the websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Housing and Communal Services, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, the provincial duma or the city mayor's office can tell you whether you currently have any outstanding debts and fines, whether you have been brought to administrative or other liability, whether you are registered with tax office, pension fund, etc. You can also call these structures or visit them in person to get the information you need. To do this, you will need a passport and other personal documents, depending on the type of institution.
