The state civil service is labor activity in federal and regional executive bodies. An adult Russian who has successfully passed competitive tests can become a civil servant.
Instructions
Step 1
To find a job that suits you in a federal or regional government agency, check the official websites of these institutions. In a special section of the site, announcements about a competition for filling vacancies are promptly posted. In it you will find the following information: the name of the structural unit and position, requirements for a candidate, a list of required documents, deadlines for submitting an application, dates of the first and second stages of the competition, contact phone number. The same information is published in the main regional newspaper.
Step 2
Prepare the documents specified in the ad. It is best to take a separate folder for this and, in accordance with the list, put in it the originals and photocopies of the passport, work book, diplomas of higher professional education, TIN, certificate of pension insurance, documents on awarding an academic degree, state awards, etc. You must certify a copy of the work book with the head of the personnel department at the previous place of work or with a notary.
Step 3
Obtain a medical certificate stating that you have no medical conditions that prevent you from entering the public service. To do this, go to the district clinic or other medical center for a preventive examination. You will need to pass a general blood test, do an ECG, fluorography, visit doctors: psychiatrist, narcologist, otolaryngologist, cardiologist, surgeon, etc. The certificate is issued on an approved form. It must be presented in the original.
Step 4
Take a photo. The photo should be 3x4 cm in color. To get a high-quality picture, dress in a blouse, shirt or jacket in a dark tone without a pattern. In total, 2 photographs are required: for the competitive application form and the personal file of a civil servant.
Step 5
Submit the prepared documents to the indicated address within a month from the date of publication of the vacancy announcement. This must be done personally. The competition committee will check your documents and issue application forms for participation in the competition and the applicant's questionnaire. You will fill out the application and the questionnaire here in the presence of the personnel department.
Step 6
Within two weeks, the documents you submitted will be considered during the first (correspondence) stage of the competition. The members of the competition committee will decide whether your education, qualifications, experience meet the requirements. You will be informed about the results of the first stage in writing or by phone.
Step 7
The date of the second (full-time) stage of the competition, as a rule, is appointed 2-3 weeks after the completion of the first. This stage takes place in the form of an interview with members of the competition committee. The commission includes representatives of the personnel and legal services of the state body, the head of the division in which the competition is held, and independent experts. Applicants are asked questions regarding the procedure for passing the civil service and the professional direction of the activity of the unit with the vacancy.
Step 8
Based on the results of the second stage, the competition commission makes a decision, which is entered into the protocol, published on the official website of the state institution and communicated in writing to all participants in the competition.
