Men reach retirement age at 60, women at 55. This does not mean at all that you need to quit. If the employee continues to work, he is entitled to an annual recalculation of the retirement pension.

Instructions

Step 1

If you continue to work after reaching retirement age, since 2003 you are obliged to submit an application to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation annually so that you will be recalculated in accordance with the information provided by the employer and with the amount of insurance contributions that are transferred to pension contributions.

Step 2

Individual personal accounts began to be kept in 1997, when registration in the compulsory pension insurance system began. For each insured person, information on pension contributions and wages is taken into account.

Step 3

In accordance with Article 30 of Federal Law No. 173-F3, the insurance experience is transferred to the monetary equivalent, which is considered pension capital. The second component of the accrued pension is calculated based on the paid insurance premiums from January 1, 2002 to the date of accrual of the pension. Accordingly, if the pensioner continues to work, the second part of his pension is recalculated annually.

Step 4

To carry out the recalculation, you should contact the territorial administration of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. This can be done only 12 months after the pension is initially assigned or 12 months after the next recalculation.

Step 5

A working pensioner can apply for an increase in his pension only if his salary is official and the employer makes monthly transfers of insurance contributions.

Step 6

There is no universal recalculation procedure for all pensioners, therefore, for more accurate information, you need to contact the territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation at the place of permanent registration. The only thing that can be said for sure is that if there is a desire, health allows, it is quite profitable to work in retirement. The money increase will be not only the received wages, but also the increased labor pension.
