The insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance, contrary to the name, is issued to citizens not only of retirement age, but also of any other age, even children. To obtain an insurance number, you will need to contact the Pension Fund and fill out a questionnaire.

Instructions
Step 1
The certificate is issued for each employee after the conclusion of an employment contract with him. In this case, all contacts with the Pension Fund are carried out by the insured, that is, the organization that will pay insurance contributions to the Pension Fund for the employee.
Step 2
A Russian citizen who does not yet work or has not reached the age of majority can himself apply to the PF body at his place of residence. For children under 14 years of age, this must be done by their parents or legal representatives.
Step 3
When you first visit the Pension Fund, you will be given an ADV-1 form. It can be filled in by hand in block letters in any color other than red and green.
Step 4
The form is filled in personally or by authorized services (the recipient of SNILS will have to certify the document, and if this is not possible, the policyholder indicates the reason). If the number is issued for a child, the parent completes and certifies the questionnaire.
Step 5
In the form, indicate your first name, last name and patronymic in the nominative case, gender (in one letter), date of birth. Write the name of your place of birth, indicate citizenship in the appropriate box, and then write the address of registration and actual residence. If you wish, you can leave contact numbers. After that, fill in the fields for passport data, put the date of filling out the questionnaire and sign.
Step 6
In the department of the Pension Fund at the place of residence, present a completed form and an identity document. If a child receives SNILS, his birth certificate and parent's passport will be needed.
Step 7
If the document is filled out correctly, you will be given an insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance in your hands. It will have to be changed only if the data for one of the items in the questionnaire changes.
