Starting conditions

The future Miss World was born on August 10, 1974 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the town of Shcherbinka near Moscow. My father worked at a local printing company. Mother worked in a fur store. The child was prepared from an early age for an independent life. The girl was instilled with a love of work. Julia already at preschool age learned to sew outfits for her dolls. She studied well at school, although there were not enough stars from the sky. When the time came to choose a profession, Kurochkina decided to get a specialized education at the Moscow Institute of Finance and Economics.
Way to victory
Julia by the age of fourteen became a slender and well-formed girl. At that time, in the Soviet Union, no one was officially engaged in business, and even more so in modeling. However, at the Central Department Store, the presentation of new clothing models was regularly held. Kurochkina was invited as a fashion model to demonstrate clothes and accessories made of fur. The girl received quite decent fees for those times for going to the podium. It was here that she was noticed by the Russian organizers of the Miss World 92 contest.
After short negotiations, Kurochkina agreed and began to prepare for the event. This case clearly demonstrates the level of training of domestic managers. Julia had to independently form a collection of clothes and related accessories. With great difficulty, I managed to buy a suitable swimsuit. The dress was lent by a friend. Shoes were chosen in the Chinese market. Much to the satisfaction of relatives and fans, the efforts were not in vain. Julia successfully passed all stages of the competition and received the main prize.

Under the terms of the contract, Kurochkina participated for a whole year in various events that were held on different continents. She starred in advertising for cosmetics, clothing, household appliances. She attended the grand openings of supermarkets, clubs, hotels and other facilities. Julia saw with her own eyes how show business participants live in other countries.
The personal life of Yulia Kurochkina has developed quite well. She abandoned her further career as a public person. She returned to her native Shcherbinka. Found a job at a travel agency. Got married. The husband and wife raised a daughter.
