Biography
Sergey Belousov was born in Novosibirsk in 1950. He grew up a very intelligent boy, learned to read early. He read everything he could get his hands on that he could find in the library. And then he decided that he would become a writer himself. However, his dream was not destined to come true, because writers at that time could not earn their living, at least at the beginning.
After leaving school, Sergei entered a technical university in his city and after graduation he worked at a plant, was engaged in automatic control systems. However, the literary vein lived inside and did not give rest, so he decided to try himself in the role of a journalist. For several years Belousov worked in different editorial offices, wrote news and analytical materials. And in 1986 he decided to write a book.
He decided to create a detective novel, but his two daughters accidentally suggested a completely different topic. Their behavior, their mischievous antics prompted the writer to write a children's book. And the sisters also had a playmate named Lyonka. Some situations constantly happened to him, which definitely asked for a children's book. Sergei Mikhailovich collected all these cases and described them, including his daughters in the storyline. His writing talent helped him create an interesting story that girls and boys read.
Later, the story about Pechenyushkin grew into a cycle, which was continued by the books "The Death Pan" and "The Heart of the Dragon". It is known that the writer plans to continue the cycle about Pechenyushkin and his friends, who have already matured, but all the same kind and mischievous.
At the beginning of the 2000s, Belousov began writing on culinary topics, and in 2001 he published the book "Vkusnodrom", and in 2002 - the book "Dish-eater". The fact is that Sergei Mikhailovich is not only a writer, but also an inveterate gourmet, and he also decided to describe this passion in the form of recipes for exquisite and simple dishes.
