Childhood
Kim Joon was born on February 3, 1984 in Gyeonggi, South Korea. From an early age, he was a shy and silent child with a good artistic taste.
He recalls that as a child he was very lonely and the only thing that could even slightly brighten this emptiness - numerous books and novels. Books were his friends, teachers and wise mentors. He could indulge in reading for hours on end, enthusiastically swallowing one page after another. Literature gave him sensuality and fullness of life.
Kim was a diligent student, all the teachers doted on him. His deepest childhood dream was to become a great writer.
The beginning of a musical career
However, when he was introduced to American rap music, that all changed. Kim became imbued with music and began to compose lyrics for his own project. He also selflessly began writing poetry that made him famous in his final years in college.
He was always an over-thinker, which, he said, was one of the main reasons for his nihilistic approach to life and low self-esteem. A pessimist by nature, Kim never thought he could be a musician. The changes took place only when he began to communicate with professional rappers who approved of his work and supported his further development.
Anyway, everything turned out well. Overcoming all his personal barriers and fears, Kim quickly joined the group T-Max, and they began to fully perform on stage. This is how his musical career started.
Usually, South Korean music groups do not exist for long, because the members, as they become famous, begin their acting careers in parallel. And in the future, they prefer the latter.

Kim received a tempting offer to star in Boys Over Flowers. It was an offer that does not refuse. It radically turned his life upside down and brought the "young talent" national and international fame.
In addition to participating as an actor, he was also involved as a musician on the soundtrack for the series. The single thundered with tremendous success, which only got firewood in the stove. His popularity skyrocketed.
It took Kim very little time to be known as the national favorite. The army of his admirers grew and multiplied. Not stopping at what has been achieved, he continued performing in the shows to which he was invited. But the TV people did not give up so easily, bombarding the young talent with offers.
