Children's hobbies
The younger generation at all times imitates the elders and takes an example from them. This is how life works, and this tradition has to be reckoned with. Pavel Anatolyevich Usanov was born on August 11, 1975 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the provincial town of Novocheboksarsk. My father worked at one of the local enterprises. Mother taught vocals at a music school.
The boy grew up calm and reasonable. Adults did not experience any particular problems with him. Pasha was not considered a bully, but he did not give himself offense on the street.
Usanov studied well at school. He was not interested in exact sciences. He loved literature and geography. He willingly went in for physical education and attended the gymnastics section. In high school, he could perform complex exercises on uneven bars and a crossbar. Several times he defended the honor of the school at city competitions. When Pavel was fourteen years old, he met the guys who played guitars and sang tourist songs. From the first meetings he felt a genuine interest in this work. Pasha learned the three basic chords easily, after which he begged his parents to buy him a guitar.
There is every reason to say that the instrument determined the future fate of Usanov. Some of the adults joked that he also sleeps with the guitar. After graduating from school, Pavel decided to get a specialized education at the music department of the Kirov School of Arts. As soon as he received his diploma, he was drafted into the ranks of the armed forces.
The structure of the army is a large and multifaceted economy. This farm has a place for musicians, singers and composers. Usanov served in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Moscow Military District. For the excellent performance of his official duties, Paul was repeatedly noted with gratitude in the orders of the command. In the language of civilians, this means that the musician easily, faster than others mastered his part in preparation for performances. He mastered and never played false chords.
Usanov demobilized, having a referral to the military conducting department at the Moscow Conservatory. Visited home. He hugged and kissed his relatives. The handsome man walked in uniform along the familiar streets. Then he went to study in the capital.
Creative activity
It is important to note that Pavel Usanov was not only a talented musician, but also a very hard-working author. During his studies at the Faculty of Military Conductors, cadet Usanov played in the Manhattan jazz group. In this context, it should be emphasized that jazz compositions are difficult to perform. A guitarist requires a delicate playing technique and good reaction to follow the rhythm set by the soloist. Then he completed a good internship in the popular "Phonograph Jazz Band", under the direction of the cult leader Sergei Zhilin.
In 1996, Pavel went through a competition to the famous group "Lube". He was taken to the place of the bass player. The working schedule of the vocal and instrumental group was tough. On tour I had to go to different regions of the country at any time of the year and in any weather. Tough penalties were imposed for skipping a rehearsal. Recording new albums also required some preparation and concentration. It is important to emphasize that Paul experienced all these attendant circumstances without the slightest irritation. Moreover, on occasion, he contributed to the processing of musical compositions.
Meeting engagement
In parallel with his work in "Lube", the bass-guitarist managed to take a course in composition at the Gnessin Academy. Pavel wrote musical accompaniment for theatrical performances and television programs. In collaboration with the TV journalist of Channel One Pavel Sheremet, a dozen and a half documentaries were released. A special resonance among the audience was caused by the project "Russian Victim" about the feat of the paratroopers during the war in the North Caucasus. Usanov was gradually feeling his own line in the profession of a composer and arranger.
Based on the results of numerous tests in 2006, Pavel created his own group, "Encounter Battle". He had to take on the responsibilities of both composer and artistic director. Without leaving the main workplace in "Lube", Usanov very successfully "untwisted" his group. In 2009, the first studio album was released under the title "Everything will be as it should!" Pavel successfully tours with his repertoire in the cities of Russia and neighboring countries. By this time, the soloist Juliana Green is fixed in the team.
Achievements and personal life
In 2015, Usanov was one of the founders of the cultural and educational movement "Rodnye Prostory". As part of this movement, the first competition for young performers was held, which was hosted by the city of Donetsk. Even the hostilities that took place in the vicinity of the capital of Donbass did not interfere with the event.
In the personal life of a musician, anything happened. He lived with his first wife Marina for eight years. The husband and wife raised two children, a son and a daughter. However, the social unit could not withstand external influences, the family broke up. The second time Pavel married the lead singer of his group, Juliana Green. But together they did not live long. In April 2016, Pavel Usanov died after being injured by unknown assassins in a street fight. The musician was buried in his hometown of Novocheboksarsk.
