Leading artist of the Academic Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin in Northern Palmyra, Sergei Parshin today is at the peak of his creative career, which is equally emphasized both on the stage and on the set. All of his characters are always distinguished by charming softness and heartfelt charm, which makes even the villains in his performance very attractive.
Biography and career of Sergei Ivanovich Parshin
On May 28, 1952, in Kohtla-Järve (Estonia), a future talented actor was born into a military family. As a child, Sergei paid more attention to physical education and sports, and therefore a poem brilliantly read at school became a real startup in the creative profession. After all, the class teacher, together with a guest teacher from the theater studio, insisted that acting career should become a decisive life priority for a talented young man.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, Sergei Parshin, instead of scheduled admission to a physical education university, began his studies at LGITMiK (course of Irina Meyerhold and Vasily Merkuriev). After graduating from the legendary university, the aspiring actor entered the service at the Alexandrinsky Theater, where he continues to appear on stage to this day.
Currently, there are more than eight dozen theatrical roles behind the creative shoulders of the People's Artist. And the first success in this field came to Parshin after the brilliantly played role of Truffaldino in the play "Green Bird", when the theatrical community appreciated the artistic abilities of the novice actor. Sergei Parshin's many-sided artistic talent was awarded two Golden Soffit awards (for the performances The Inspector General and Izotov) and the State Prize of the Russian Federation (for the production The Inspector General).
The cinematic debut of the People's Artist of Russia took place in 1973 with the episodic role of the Musician in the film "Smart Things". Personal life of the artist
For the first time, Sergei Parshin tied the knot with fellow student Tatyana Astratieva. In this marriage, sons Ivan and Alexander were born. The eldest son followed in the footsteps of his parents and has already managed to prove himself as a famous film actor. To the great regret of the actor, his wife died in 2006 of cancer.
In 2008, Sergei Parshin married for the second time to actress Natalia Kutasova. This family and creative union originated on the set of the Supervised Love film project, where the future spouses played the characters of the protagonist's parents.
