Denis Parshin is a domestic hockey player acting as an extreme striker. During his many years of career in Russia, he took part in all the Gagarin Cup draws since the foundation of the tournament. He defended the colors of four different KHL clubs.
Denis Parshin is a pupil of the Yaroslavl hockey. Born during the Soviet era on February 1, 1986, eighty kilometers from Yaroslavl, the city of Andropov (now Rybinsk). From a young age, Denis was distinguished by his love of sports. The player's hockey biography began in his native Yaroslavl, where he received his primary sports education. When the young hockey player turned 16, he moved to Moscow to the location of the CSKA sports school.
The beginning of Denis Parshin's career
Denis Parshin's career began in the camp of the Moscow "army team" even before the Russian Championship was renamed the Continental Hockey League (KHL). First, he played in the First Division for the CSKA double, and from the 2003-2004 season he became the debutant of the main team playing in the Russian Hockey Super League.
Until 2007, it was impossible to completely win a place in CSKA. The attacker was periodically sent to reinforce the second team of "army men". Only in the 2007-2008 season, Denis Parshin was able to gain a foothold as a player in the Russian Ice Hockey Super League (RSL). This game year, Parshin played 56 matches for CSKA and scored 35 points (12 + 23 with 46 penalty minutes). In 2008 he took part in the playoffs with the team. Scored once in six games played.
In total, during his career in RSL, Denis Parshin played in 216 meetings with a total performance of + 24 and 90 points (37 + 53).
Denis Parshin's career in the KHL
Parshin spent his first season in the KHL with the Moscow "army". For CSKA, the forward continued to play until the 2012-2013 season. The new season began unsuccessfully, played only nine games, and then changed his club registration.
The Ufa club "Salavat Yulaev" became Parshin's new team. But Parshin spent only one year in it, played less than thirty games.
Season 2013 - 2014, the winger has signed an agreement with the Nizhny Novgorod "Torpedo". He played 46 games in which he was able to score 33 points (15 +18) with a plus - minus -1.
Omsk Avangard became the fourth KHL club for Denis Parshin. In this team, the forward was able to gain a foothold for three full seasons, the most successful of which was the first. In it, the striker showed his best performance. In sixty games, he struck the opponent's goal 25 times and helped his teammates to excel thirty times. Denis Parshin played for the team from Omsk until the 2016-2017 season, and then moved to Ufa for the second time.
The current team of Denis Parshin is the Nizhny Novgorod "Torpedo", in which the hockey player has been playing since 2017.
Denis Parshin's career in the Russian national team
Work on the hockey rink, the player's game creativity from a young age attracted the attention of the coaching staff of the Russian national team. True, the striker had a chance to achieve success only with the junior and youth teams (the striker made his contribution to winning gold at the YChM-2004 and silver at the MFM-2005). Parshin played for the main national team only within the framework of the Eurotour.
