At one point, her friends invited her with them to be screened at the Institute of Cinematography. Of the five girls who came to the casting, only Valentina was chosen. In her student years, she worked as a model - she demonstrated fur in the capital's Fashion House. Having received a specialized education in 1949, the graduated actress entered the service of the Film Actor's Studio Theater.

In this theater, Ushakova served until her retirement. Almost every year she was invited to participate in cinematic projects. She played her first notable role in the film Mussorgsky. The bright appearance of the actress attracted directors making films about the distant past. Valentina organically felt herself in the image of a society lady or a governess. In 1954, she starred in the film "You Can't Forget It", where Vyacheslav Tikhonov acted as her partner. Valentina presented a memorable image in the film "Street of the Youngest Son".

Personal life scenario

Back in her student years, Valentina got into a car accident. She had to lie in a cast for almost a year. Doctors insisted on stopping her acting career and warned that it was not desirable for her to give birth. In 1958, the actress married the cameraman Alexander Kochetkov.

Husband and wife have lived their entire adult life under one roof. Valentina believed that there must be children in the house and neglected the advice of doctors. The couple raised and raised two sons. Valentina Ushakova passed away in October 2012.
