Biography
Walger Sonya is the daughter of an Englishwoman and a native of Argentina, which is why from early childhood she spoke two languages at once, English and Spanish. A serious and thoughtful girl showed a great interest in classical English literature, and therefore, having completed her school education, she went to study it at Oxford University.
It was here that Sonya got the chance to try herself in acting, in amateur productions of the university theater. The girl felt that she wanted to connect her life with the game, but not on stage, but in the cinema.
Career
Sonya began taking acting and dance courses, attending auditions, and in 1998 made her debut in an episode of the British television series Heat of the Sun. In July 2009, Walger became the wife of screenwriter Davey Holmes, whom she dated for quite some time. The rather restrained wedding ceremony was attended by only a hundred guests, the closest relatives and friends of the couple were invited.
The first child of the spouses was born in 2013, when the star was already 38 years old. A daughter was born, who was named Billy Rosie Holmes, and in the same year Sonya received the long-awaited American citizenship and was able to move to the Hollywood Hills. And two years later, his son Jake joined the family. The actress is calmly engaged in her work, appreciates family and friends, is fond of travel, often visits London and Buenos Aires.
