If we talk about all possible films about magic, then it should be noted that the date of the appearance of the first such film is known for sure - January 6, 1896 in Paris. In a bright ray of light, out of nowhere, from behind a dark and empty wall on a white sheet suddenly appeared a huge, iron and terrible monster - a train. He rushed, preparing to crush everyone in his path and did not think to stop. And nothing held him back except a ray of light. Since then, films about magic have combined everything from magic and fantasy to horror and melodramatic mysticism.

As, for example, in films based on Tolkien's books - in stories about hobbits in several parts of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbits. Or in films about the magician Merlin - both in foreign and in the old Soviet film "June 31". Or in the three parts of The Chronicles of Narnia, 47 Ronin (47 Ronin, 2014) and Love Through Time (Winter's Tale, 2014).
