Oleg Kuzmin was born on a significant day - May 9, 1981 in Moscow. The Kumin family was not sports, as the player himself later admitted, as a child he was far from thinking about professional football. However, I chased the ball in the yard with my friends. It was thanks to his friend, who invited him to sex, that Oleg started playing football at the school of the Moscow "Spartak".

The beginning of a club career

Oleg Kuzmin received his football education at the “people's team” school. As a pupil of "Spartak", from 1997 to 2000 he defended the colors of the second team, "red and white". But Kuzmin also played for the main Spartak. True, this happened only in one match on November 12, 2000, when the coach of “Spartak” released Kuzmin as a substitute in the second secret. That debut match at the base for the footballer did not end with anything remarkable.

In 2001, Oleg Kuzmin signed a contract with the Elista "Uralan". In this club, the defender spent 80 matches, playing until 2004. It was for Uralan that Kuzmin scored his first goal, which is not so often for a player of a purely defensive plan. All in all, Oleg Aleksandrovich scored three goals in Uralan.

In 2004, Kuzmina was expecting a new job. He moved to the capital's club FC "Moscow", where he played until 2008, having played a total of 115 matches and hitting the opponents' goal six times. In "Moscow" Kuzmin has established himself as a quality efficient defender, able to cement the defensive redoubts of his team, which made a significant contribution to the organization of the club's defense.

Another metropolitan club in Kuzmin's career was Lokomotiv Moscow, where the defender moved in 2009. He played 34 matches for the railroad workers, after which in 2010 he went to punish Kazan.

Over the years of his performance, Oleg was able to win several prestigious domestic trophies. In the 2011-2012 season, together with his Rubin teammates, Kuzmin lifted the trophy over his head to the winner of the Russian Cup. The victory in the Russian Super Cup in 2012 also appears in his career.

Kuzmin also has awards from the domestic Russian championship. So, in 2010 he became the bronze medalist of the Russian Championship. For his loyalty to the club and great football experience, Oleg Kuzmin was elected captain of Rubin.

Oleg Kuzmin was called up to the Russian Olympic team, for which he played 8 matches. His path to the main team was difficult. Received invitations in 2006 and 2009, but never entered the field, remaining among the players simply announced for the match.

Kuzmin played for the Russian national team only in 2015, as part of the selection for EURO 2016 in a game against the principal rival of the Swedish team at that time. This match became famous for Kuzmin. In it, the defender set an age record for debut for the national team (at that time Kuzmin was 34 years old). Within the framework of the same selection for EURO, Kuzmin even scored a goal by scoring the ball against the Montenegrin national team.

In total, Kuzmin played 5 matches for the Russian national team.

Oleg Alexandrovich is a good family man. Together with his wife Ksenia, whom Kuzmin met at the stadium, they are raising their son Artyom. The boy followed in his father's footsteps - he also plays football.
