Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin began his political career in his homeland, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. It was there that he met his wife, the future mother of two daughters and a successful businesswoman.
Dating history
Sergey met Irina Rubinchik in Kogalym. At that time, Sobyanin worked as the head of housing and communal services, and later headed the city tax inspection. The initiator of the meeting was Sergey's older sister: she worked in the construction department and decided to organize a meeting between her brother and a pretty colleague.
The young people immediately liked each other. The romantic period of courtship lasted six months, and then Sergei made the girl a marriage proposal, which she accepted without hesitation.

Family life
The first years of marriage were not easy. Sobyanin made a rapid career: in 1991 he received the post of head of the Kogalym administration, 2 years later became deputy head of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, and in 1996 he headed the Khanty-Mansiysk Duma.
In 1986, Sobyanin's eldest daughter Anna was born. The girl turned out to be very talented, she graduated from the Khanty-Mansiysk art school, and received her higher education at the art academy in St. Petersburg. As an adult, Anna successfully married businessman Alexander Ershov; today the young family lives in St. Petersburg.
After 11 years, the family was replenished with another daughter, Olga. The girl was born in Moscow, studied at the most ordinary school, was interested in music and drawing. Anastasia worked with Sergei back in Khanty-Mansiysk, at the time she was 22 years old. The girl rapidly made a career and soon became Sobyanin's right hand, accompanying him on frequent business trips. Today Anastasia holds the post of Deputy Mayor.
