Valery Pavlinovich and Tatyana Vladimirovna Shantsevs were happy together for many years. The party leader and his wife, who began their career as an aeronautical engineer-technologist, made a great contribution to public life. The spouses were connected only by positive energy, which allowed them to keep love for a long time.
Shantsev Tatyana Vladimirovna (June 25, 1947 - November 24, 2014) and Valery Pavlinovich (June 29, 1947) have always shared common views. The wife of the politician, who held the position of a technological engineer in the aviation sector, devoted many years of her life to serving in state bodies of the Moscow government. Tatyana Vladimirovna highly appreciated the independence of her husband, whom she had known since her studies at the Moscow Aviation College. Together they raised two children in love and harmony.
The beginning of a joint life path
Studying at a technical school after finishing 8 classes of Moscow school No.743, Valery Pavlinovich could not help but notice Tatyana among his classmates. She was among the 7 students out of 30 who were trained in the group. A serious girl immediately captivated the young student with her beauty.
Shantsev's childhood was difficult, he had to live in a Moscow barrack with his parents. Before school, Valeria was raised by her grandmother, who lived in the village of the Kostroma region (Susanino), which was the place of his birth. The future politician named by his mother Ekaterina Ivanovna received his name in honor of the legendary pilot Valery Chkalov.
Tatiana felt sympathy for Valery, so she confessed to him that she considered him smart and independent. The reason for the start of the couple's relationship was the solution of a difficult problem by Valery near the blackboard. Thus, a physics lesson became unforgettable for young lovers.
Having learned about the girl's reciprocal feelings, the guy began to invite her for walks and to the cinema, but she did not give him a reason to pay for the sessions and bought herself a ticket. In 1966, Valery was drafted into the army, where he served and returned in 1968 to a girl who waited for him to marry him a year later.
Family happiness and the birth of children
After the marriage, the Shantsevs lived with their parents with their grandmother, and during Tatyana's maternity leave, the married couple lived in the summer cottage village of Saltykovka in the Moscow region. The room where the parents used to live was small. Valery constantly carried water from the well and stoked the stove.
Valery, who worked at the plant, was able to get a one-room apartment after a while. Tatiana gave birth to her second child Valeria in 1977, when her daughter was a schoolgirl. They named their son Alexander. The Shantsev family needed a three-room apartment. The future head of the region, working as a senior process engineer at the Salyut defense plant, donated his wages and his own career, but soon received an apartment.
The first university that Shantseva graduated from was the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute. She began her career after distribution in 1980 at the OKB im. Ilyushin, where Shantseva headed the technological bureau, taking part in the development of the landing gear for the Il-76 and Il-96 aircraft. Ten years later, Tatyana Vladimirovna linked her further career with financial markets and charitable activities.
The couple believed that in financial relations, a man should always be in the first place in the family. The wife of a party leader was worried about her husband, who in his youth was the secretary of the factory organization of the Komsomol, since she was his closest friend. Tatyana Shantseva's husband began to conduct party activities in 1975. Eight years later, he was elected a deputy, and since 1985 he was approved as chairman of the district executive committee of the Perovsky district of the Moscow region, in 1887 he was elected a member of the Moscow City Council.
The wife of a prominent politician

As a result, the statesman received burns over half of the entire skin and 148 shrapnel wounds.

After graduating from the Finance Academy under the government of the Russian Federation, since 1997 she has taken a leadership position. Shantseva's place of work was the Moscow Property Fund, where she served as the deputy head of the department of the Federal Financial Markets Service of the Central Federal District.
