Veronika Tushnova is a famous Soviet poet and translator. Her poetry is distinguished by deep lyricism. Origins
Veronika Mikhailovna Tushnova was born on March 27, 1915 in Kazan. Father Mikhail Pavlovich Tushnov - taught at the Veterinary University of Kazan, had the title of professor, mother Alexandra Georgievna - an artist.
Study
Veronica received her secondary education in one of the best Kazan schools №14, where, starting from the elementary grades, they focused on the study of several foreign languages. Even in her school years, the girl began to write poetry, which was seriously noticed by the teacher of literature.
After graduating from high school in 1928, the future poetess did not dare to go against the will of her father and entered the Faculty of Medicine at Kazan University. Three years later, her father was transferred to Leningrad, where the whole family moved. Veronica continued her studies there. Even after becoming a certified doctor, the girl continues her favorite business - writing poetry. Therefore, she turned to the famous Soviet poetess V. M. Inber for advice. After that, in 1941 he successfully entered the literary institute.
Work
When the Great Patriotic War began, Veronika Tushnova was evacuated to her homeland - to Kazan. There she worked in a military hospital. After returning to Moscow in 1943, Veronika Tushnova continues to work as a hospital doctor - resident. The wounded soldiers remembered her reading them her poems, which she wrote down in short moments of rest.
Veronica Tushnova's poems were first published in 1944 and immediately attracted the attention of admirers of poetry. For several years the poetess worked as a reviewer in a literary publishing house. She has excellently translated the works of the famous Rabindranath Tagore. Conducted literary seminars.
Personal life
Veronika Tushnova first started a family with a psychiatrist Yuri Rozinsky in 1938. In this marriage, the only daughter, Natalya, was born, who became a philologist. A few years later, the husband left the family. But, seriously ill, he returned. The ex-wife considered it her duty to remain faithful to her husband to the end, looked after him until his death.
The second husband of the poetess was the editor-in-chief of the literary publishing house "Detsky Mir" Yuri Timofeev. After ten years of marriage, the marriage broke up.
The last great love of Veronika Mikhailovna was her literary colleague, poet Alexander Yashin. Despite deep feelings, he could not leave his family for the sake of Veronica. Perhaps this was the development of the disease of the famous poetess.
Veronika Mikhailovna Tushnova passed away on July 7, 1965, at the age of fifty. The cause was cancer.
