Not all viewers know that cinema is directing art. Without belittling the importance of the cast, one must understand that the main person on the set leads and directs the performers. Anton Megerdichev has been directing for many years.
Starting conditions
Russian cinema follows the wake of the world famous Hollywood. Producers and America determine the ideological direction of the films. Plots are replicated. They form an image of heroes and a system of values. Since Russia, on a voluntary basis, abandoned its own ideology, it is necessary to use the experience of senior partners. Russian director Anton Evgenievich Megerdichev came into the profession at a mature age.
The future director of documentaries and feature films was born on July 22, 1969 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. The child grew up in normal conditions. Dressed. Shoe. Fed up. I studied well at school. He was actively involved in sports and even participated in city competitions. After the tenth grade, he entered the famous Institute of Railway Engineers and received a higher technical education.
Professional activity
Pragmatic and purposeful in character, Megerdichev received his engineering degree in 1993. At that time, the so-called reforms were unfolding in Russia. In the current conditions, the power-holding structures turned out to be unnecessary engineers. New owners and effective managers needed fighters on the ideological front. Anton met and became close friends with the liberal journalist Leonid Parfenov, who shaped the creative direction of the novice director.
Megerdichev's professional career began in collaboration with Parfenov, which lasted a total of over twelve years. The first scenes were filmed for the television program "Portrait in the background". The programs told about Russian history and culture. Information about the Soviet period was presented in gloomy tones. In excellent intonations, the story of the reign of Emperor Nicholas II was described. Then colleagues worked on the series of programs “Russian Empire. Leonid Parfenov's project”.
Essays on personal life
After the documentary films, he shot the feature film Moving Up. This project turned out to be the highest grossing in the history of Russian cinema. The box office receipts amounted to 3 billion rubles.
Megerdichev's personal life developed from the second call. The first marriage broke up ten years later. Two daughters remained orphans. The second time Anton Evgenievich got married in 2011. The husband and wife are raising two girls. The director continues to do his favorite work. In the near future, he will start shooting a historical film.
