Early years, adolescence
Alexander Valerievich was born in Irkutsk on August 25, 1964. His creative abilities manifested themselves already in childhood, he wrote his first poem in elementary school.
From the age of 12, Sasha began to get involved in music, later he entered the school ensemble, where he was a guitarist. In the same period, his first songs appeared.
Shulgin studied well at school, was the winner of the Mathematical Olympiad. Then Sasha began his studies at the Linguistic University, and then transferred to the Technical University, and from there to the University of Economics.
Creative biography
Shulgin did not give up music, so he could not study normally. Once he met the musicians of the Carnival group, which had arrived in Irkutsk. They invited Shulgin to the capital, where he entered the rock group Cruise.
In that period, rock music was banned, but Alexander made sure that the state commission accepted the program of the collective. The group began to perform classical music with a modern twist.
Later, the team ended up in Germany, where they released a number of albums. The brightest was called Kruiz. Then "Cruise" fell apart. For some time Shulgin lived in Germany, mastered the show business system. He has completed several projects and worked with celebrities.
Then Alexander returned home, became a producer and opened several companies. In 1998, the "Familia" company appeared, later a consulting firm, a music publishing house and other branches were included in its structure.
At the same time, Shulgin began to write songs, many of them became hits. In the 90s he collaborated with Valeria, the Dream group. Alexander Valerievich was the producer of the album "Jazz" of the group "Alisa", was engaged in the promotion of the first albums "Ivanushek International," Mumiy Troll ".
Shulgin began to collaborate with popular artists: Dmitry Malikov, Irina Saltykova, Oleg Gazmanov, Kristina Orbakaite and others. Zemfira's first album was recorded at his studio, he published concerts of Mikhail Zadornov.
In the two thousandth Alexander Valerievich created the musical "I". Thanks to him, the world learned about the saxophonist Sheremet Elena. In 2005 his album "Presentation" was released. Then the album "Triptych" with instrumental music and the disc "Fairy Tale" were recorded.
In 2002, the project "Become a Star" appeared, which was invented by Shulgin. The finalists were included in the Other Rules group. Then Alexander Valerievich switched to the "Star Factory" show, for which he created over 40 songs. He also became an investor in high-tech projects.
Personal life
The first wife of Alexander Valerievich was the singer Valeria. They met in a nightclub where Valeria sang. At first they just collaborated, later a romantic relationship appeared. Because of Shulgin, Valeria divorced her husband, musician Yaroshevsky Leonid.
The couple had three children - Anna, Artyom, Arseny. Later, the singer filed for divorce due to Shulgin's aggressiveness. The breakup was accompanied by a scandal.
Then Alexander Valerievich had a civil marriage with Mikhalchik Julia, they met at the "Star Factory". The relationship ended in rupture, after which Shulgin preferred to go headlong into work.
