With the help of the Internet, you can trace the entire route of your parcel and find out when it reached the addressee. At each stage of the transfer, information from the postal identifier (code-number that is assigned to the postal item at the very beginning of its "journey") is entered into a unified accounting and control system.
It is necessary
- - package;
- - check-receipt;
- - passport;
- - application.
Instructions
Step 1
Register your shipment and receive a unique postal ID from the post office staff. This is a "password" of numbers and capital letters (if the parcel goes abroad), or only of numbers (if the postal item is delivered within our country) on the check, which will need to be entered into a special line on the official website of the Russian Post. The postal ID is printed without a space.
Step 2
If, after entering the identifier, the system does not indicate to you the location and status of the parcel for a long time, this may mean its transfer to the next stage of processing without registration in the unified accounting and control system. Without marks on the Internet, the postal item can get lost. If this happens, apply for a postage tracing. The document must be accompanied by the receipt that was given to you when the parcel was sent, or a photocopy of it.
Step 3
Fill out the application legibly by hand. The form can be pre-printed from the Russian Post website. When filling out papers for the search for international mailings or money transfers, write the recipient's address abroad in Latin letters. Specify the number of the postal item strictly in accordance with its barcode identifier. Documents with an incomplete address will not be accepted.
Step 4
Show your passport to the post office employee. Take a tear-off coupon from him, confirming that the application for search has been filed.
Step 5
If you are notified of the loss of your postage, file a claim with your identity document. Your representative will also be able to collect funds - by power of attorney.
