Cuba is a multinational country located in the Caribbean Sea. Immigration to Cuba is attractive to foreigners because of the free education and well-developed healthcare system. However, both citizenship and residence permit are difficult to obtain.

Step 1
In total, there are three ways that can contribute to obtaining Cuban citizenship: concluding an employment contract with a Cuban employer, marrying a Cuban citizen, and participating in any volunteer projects (that is, making a significant contribution to the development of the country).
Step 2
So, the first option is to conclude a contract with an employer. You can try to go to Cuba and work there, for example, as an official representative of one of the foreign firms operating in this country. In addition, there is the possibility of filing an application with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If your profession is in demand in Cuba (if you are a translator, teacher, driver, cook, etc.), then there is a high chance that you will be included in the corresponding database of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As soon as you and your resume are of interest to any Cuban employer, an invitation will be sent to you, and you can leave for this country.
Step 3
Method number two is immigration through marriage. This method was and remains almost the only one that really allows you to obtain Cuban citizenship and officially settle there. However, immediately after marriage with a citizen / civilian country, a foreigner can only count on obtaining a temporary residence permit. True, you will have the right to renew this document if necessary. To apply for citizenship, you will need to have lived in Cuba for at least five years.
Step 4
Another, already widely advertised by the Cuban Embassy, is the participation in various volunteer projects. All of them are mainly aimed at attracting everyone who wants to work in Cuba (for example, in agriculture). The program as such does not at all imply immigration and automatic acquisition of Cuban citizenship, however, having left there, you can still try to find a permanent job. As soon as the employer sends you an invitation, you can apply for the relevant documents.
