"Matchmakers" is an entertaining series loved by all family members: both parents and children. It's nice to get the whole family together in the evening at the TV, watching the actors you already love. And this is not surprising, because the cast was selected with great care.
The storyline in "Matchmaker 5"
In "Matchmakers 5" the viewer can see how the lives of the heroes have changed over the past 8 years. So, for example, Olga Nikolaevna was left alone. Yuri Kovalev died of a heart attack. Masha and Maxim now live in Moscow. They are completely absorbed in their work. Their eldest daughter Zhenya became a goth, the younger children are completely unruly and ill-mannered. And their grandparents are going to solve this problem. They decided that during the summer holidays, the grandchildren would come to them for re-education in Kuchugury. The audience has the opportunity to watch what is happening.

Compared to previous seasons, the cast has changed somewhat. For example, the viewer will no longer see Anatoly Vasiliev, who plays Yura's grandfather.
Anatoly Vasiliev refused to star in "Matchmakers" because of conflicts with Fedor Dobronravov and one of the directors of the series.
In the frame we will again see Mityai with his family. Also San Sanych, his daughter and parents.
Fedor Dobronravov (Ivan), Tatiana Kravchenko (Valyukha), Lyudmila Artemyeva (Olga) - all also remain the main actors of the series. Their heroes will face unexpected and bright turns in life. For example, the heroine of Tatiana Kravchenko will run her own business and will learn to drive. Ivan will absolutely not like it, and he will interfere with her in every possible way.
This season, Alexander Feklistov will again participate in the role of Berkovich. His daughter will be played by a young actress Marina Serdeshnyuk. Emmanuel Vitorgan and Elena Safonova were chosen for the role of Berkovich's parents.
For the role of the matured Zhenya, the scriptwriters approved the 17-year-old Kiev woman Anna Koshmal. This is her first filming in a movie. She had to change her hair color: from a natural blonde she dyed her hair into a brunette.

In several episodes, the viewer will see Zhenya's parents, they were played by Inna Koroleva and Daniil Belykh. According to the script, the parents are very busy with their work. Because of this, they have no time at all for their own children. Since children are left to themselves, they grow up ill-mannered and uncooperative.
The twin children were played by Anna Polishchuk and Konstantin Chernokrylyuk. It's amazing that two children from different families who did not know each other before filming so got used to their roles. You will never suspect that these kids have nothing to do with each other. According to the plot, their heroes are very calculating, cunning, have quite adult composure and resourcefulness. They are sufficiently advanced in technical innovations, which allows them to manipulate adults and their peers.
